Andrew Brown Dental is an independent private dental practice based in Tavistock, Devon committed to operating in the highest ethical manner.

In order to help our patients make the best choices for their dental care, we provide personal, bespoke advice and guidance.  Our dedicated team of dental professionals strongly share this commitment to ethics.

Our primary aim is to ensure each and every of our patients are provided with the highest level of dental care.

Our Story

After qualifying in Bristol in 1981, Andrew bought his first Dental Practice in Plymouth in 1986. Later moving to Tavistock to set up a Dental Practice in Brook Street Tavistock. Wishing to expand and concentrate purely on private Dentistry, Andrew moved to 9 Plymouth Road in 2002 and has been here ever since.

With a vision to bring the highest quality private Dental treatments to Tavistock, provided with a holistic and preventative approach to patients of all ages. Our Tavistock based Plymouth Road Dental Practice has grown from strength to strength over the last 15 years and we still see many patients that have followed Andrew from his very first practice all those years ago!

Using the latest in technology and his vast experience and knowledge, Andrew and his team regularly attend courses to update their skills, ensuring patients are always receiving the best treatment and advice possible.

In 2013 we were pleased to be awarded Good Practice by the BDA (British Dental Association). Later that year we were Accredited by the CQC (Care Quality Commission).

With more and more people becoming aware of the wider health benefits of maintaining healthy teeth and gums, we are seeing an increase in patients wanting to take charge of their own oral health and hygiene and seeking out the best care available to them.
