Not your normal braces

Invisalign is a wonderful alternative to the more traditional fixed dental braces or ‘train tracks’ used to straighten wonky or misaligned teeth. The system uses a series of custom made plastic retainers to gradually move your teeth into the new desired position. Treatment times can vary, but some cases can be completed in as little as 10 weeks! As the name suggests, they are very discreet and can also be removed at times if needed.

What we provide

Two of our dentists, Tom and Carys, provide Invisalign Go Plus treatment which is used for treating many different cases. These include mild to moderate crowding, spaced teeth and also for moving teeth into favourable positions if you need a crown or veneers to restore your teeth.
Your initial consultation will involve a series of photographs and a detailed analysis of your general dental health and the current position of your teeth. The dentist will then assess your suitability for Invisalign treatment. Impressions are taken of your teeth and from this a computerised simulation of what your teeth could look like is then generated. We will discuss what you want to change about your smile, and how we could get there, explaining all the steps in detail and answering any queries you may have. If your case is more complex, we will arrange for you to be treated with an orthodontic specialist based at another practice in the local area who also provides treatment with Invisalign Clear Aligners.
